Title: What's Your Social Cause? Improve Brand Loyalty with Activism

H1: Supporting a Charity or Social Movement Can Improve Brand Loyalty

Keyword: improve brand loyalty

H2: Why is every corporation involved with a charity today?

Activism is everywhere these days; in schools, offices, small towns, major cities, and everywhere in between. It’s even in mainstream TV and all over the internet. Today’s most prominent activists are corporations because corporations have figured out social activism is good for the bottom line. That’s right; activism improves brand loyalty.

H2: Consumers like authenticity.

To understand how to improve brand loyalty, we need to understand the consumer. Studies have found that consumers enjoy when some of their purchase goes towards a social cause. Brands that are heavily associated with a social cause also seem more authentic and relatable. This adds another layer to branding. Branding is all about identity and improving brand loyalty, just like when a brand targets those who seek prestige, the brand can now target those who seek purpose or equity.

H2: Brands are adapting to these trends.

Upon finding this information out, brands have been incorporating charity into their brand to satisfy their customers. The more satisfied the consumers are, the more likely they will promote a company on their own accord, which is very powerful today because social media has democratized media. One of the best ways to create or improve brand loyalty in a consumer is through a personal recommendation from a friend. Your business can benefit from charity branding too.

H2: Take up a cause that fits your brand.

The first thing you have to do is find the right type of charity. For example, Starbucks taking on ethical coffee contracts and environmental protection in the countries that grow their bean is a perfect fit, so ask yourself what you can do? Could your food store commit to selling meat that was harvested humanely? Could your women’s fashion brand donate to a girl’s secondary school in the middle east? Or do you have a personal investment with a social cause like finding a cure for Parkinson’s disease? Whatever is authentic will help improve brand loyalty and help improve the world.
